For the landscapes’ lovers, an early wake up will offer the view of a breathless sunrise which lights up the Towns of the oriental coast, Riposto, Giarre and Taormina. The morning will be dedicated at the discovering of the Mount Etna, the biggest lava giant in Europe (3.343 mt high). Arrived at about 2000 mt, you’ll enjoy a fabulous view on the whole Island and then you’ll reach the Silvesters Craters, where there will be the opportunity to start an interesting excursion up to 3.000 mt with cable car and 4×4 jeep. Lunch-tasting with different local wines and typical Sicilian dishes such as cheeses, olives and sausages.
Etna offers many different interesting activities. After breakfast, free morning at your disposal. You may decide on your own what to do. Tell us your desires and we’ll be happy to realise them! What are we talking about? Relax and walks through the woods, trekking on the Etna’s paths, excursions into lava flowing caves, Mountain Bike or 4×4 jeep trails, horseback riding or donkey rides, Adventures Parks, paragliding and typical tasting. Spare time for free dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, morning excursion to the Alcantara Gorges, a natural canyon 25 mt high, forged by more than 8.000 years of basaltic lava flows and where a river of crystalline water flows. Here you may carry out different activities such as walks, canyoning, body rafting etc… Free lunch in the
surroundings of the gorges and then on to Castiglione di Sicilia, a very ancient town considered one of the most beautiful villages of Italy. Back to your accommodation, dinner in local restaurant and overnight.
After breakfast one more morning at your disposal. You may decide what to do: to live one more experience on Mount Etna or bathing in the crystalline sea of Fondachello; to fly over the east coast with a tandem or enjoy the morning in full relax. Tell us what do you prefer to do and we’ll be happy to arrange it for you. Lunch in your accommodation in “arrusti e mangia” (Grill it and swallow it) style, typical lunch that takes place in a family environment with some appetisers, legumes, grilled meat, bread, local wine and dessert. After lunch, the tour continues along the Cyclops’ Riviera for the visit of Acireale, Acitrezza, Aci Castello. Spare time for free dinner. Overnight.
